It's a countdown, though never a final one...
My ranking is probably not yours, and that's okay. I'm a bit influenced by the adaptations, so there's that.

I just watched one of your newest videos about ranking the leading men and you referenced this video so I had to come back and watch it! My rankings have two books tied in third and fourth place 😂
1. P&P
2. Persuasion
3. Northanger Abbey and S&S
4. Mansfield Park and Emma
I just finished reading all 6 over the past two months, some of which were re-reads and some of which were first-time reads! I’ll need to let it settle in a bit longer to be able to distinguish further I think! 😃😍

Apart from swapping P&P and S&S I agree with your rankings. Love all six but Persuasion is definitely my favourite.

What a fun and interesting video! I completely disagree with your ranking, but I enjoyed hearing you talk about the books nonetheless. It says a lot about Jane Austen's novels that everyone has a different favourite, they are all just such good books and there is something to love about all of them. Hm, you've made me think about my personal ranking now... it would probably be 1. Pride and Prejudice, 2. Emma, 3. Northanger Abbey, 4. Sense and Sensibility, 5. Persuasion, 6. Mansfield Park. Though it 's probably going to change in five minutes :P Also I agree that the letter in Persuasion is the best, I get shivers just thinking about that.

I think it's high time a cinematic version of NA is made, it would make a great film(I do enjoy the 2007 tv movie), The satirization of gothic literature would make for great aesthetics(they could play it up, play up the darker elements of the book) and they could probably add more drama to make it more 'cinema worthy'. With the success of Bridgerton(though I am not a huge fan) and 2020 Emma, I think there's the market for it right now.

Really enjoyed this video. An impossible task but you managed to give good reasons. I'm rereading Emma for this month and enjoying it, but I think I would also rank it lower. I think it's so much about character, Emma's character, that sometimes there is less to move it along, it's a bit more static than the others. Not that it isn't also lovely.

I still haven’t read all of her six novels, so I don’t think it’s fair yet for me to say which one’s my absolute favorite. But currently, my top three are the same as yours 🥰📚

The Amanda Root lead adaptation is the best I have seen. I think they changed too much in the later one.

I've just picked up "Emma" your gateway Jane Austen book for Jane Austen July... I've only read "Pride and Prejudice" previously, I notice most of the participants of #JaneAustenJuly are female, maybe I as a male should just stick with Dickens...
