Amen this is a breathe of fresh air when i tell people ultimately nothing is going to happen even if they say they will do something....its a blank stare people cant fathom this although the proof is all around them. This made me feel perfectly sane . I am seeing the world correctly !

I love these straightforward explanations which help to demystify economics. Many thanks.

Ellon Musk said once, " I fired any employee on the spot; without asking question"... I never bought his stocks....for his arrogance and inhumanity...Like Trump...made a mistake? You are fired 😂😂😂

A foundational program worthy keeping active.
It has been so beneficial to me in the understanding geopolitical affairs and related mysteries. Its my prayer that the forces of evolution be with us all.

Differences or not. They're both part of the same bird, left-wing right away. Same one bird.

We Spend all of our time fighting for more money...and when we win it... inflation soon means we are back to needing more money ...When are people going to work out that more money is obviously not providing any solution. ..I am 72 and When I was young, a FAMILY here in the UK could live on £24 a WEEK. People have 'won' massively higher weekly incomes than that but they sure aren't better off than in those days.. we have never 'won' anything. We need a better idea than fighting for more money.

Recently a lot of evidence has been exposed that insider trading is being used by members of Congress . These things are the very reason nothing gets done sometimes . The answer is still unionizing and organizing labor . Of course co-opting something would also be helpful .

Super Capitalism and the rentier class is really hard to quantify and normalize but I find myself accepting this cultural failure.

According to SCOTUS, aren't the bribes some paid politicians now considered a tip if paid after the action was performed?

These remarks apply to most so called "Western democracies". There is not any substantive difference between main political parties anymore. Probably the last president the U.S. had who concerned himself with social disadvantage was Lyndon Johnson. In Australia, Bob Hawke, in New Zealand, Norm Kirk. In the U.K., James Callaghan and so on...

The Democratic and Republican parties are media companies who " promise" hope for the future. They are no better than a church preacher. Thank you Prof. Wolff.
