I want to run tap water pressure through a section that has some movement. Silicone looks like the most flexible. Can I run tap water through silicone? Most importantly, I want the tubing to not break. Secondarily, softer and more flexible tubing will be easier to use in the application.
I got some polyethylene tubing at the hardware store, but before installing it, I thought I should do some research. And the PE is much stiffer than I would like. From you video, I see silicone would be great, but can it carry tap water pressure for long periods? I need both 1/4 and 3/8 for this application, if it matters.
The application is not high flexion, like a car wash hose, but it's not super-low, like under-sink connections either. it's a faucet on a moving panel, that will get nudged and bumped a little daily.
And thanks for your video.
