in my forts in the steam release, thus far, my military dwarves have always been my *happiest.* i think taking them off training is the problem - they tend to actually REALLY enjoy it, to the point where it fills their needs better than anything else.

Its amusing how the goblins ruthlessly attacked, then parleyed and left the fort alone; Then with the elves they parleyed first, and despite playing by their rules, later ruthlessly attacked. Just goes to show which group tends to be worse of the pair.

it's awesome to see northbridge becoming a whole city! It's gotten bigger than I thought it'd be, especially for all being a part of the bridge

Seeing the actual king just come in and turn your bridge fort into the capital was quite the surprise. This is what every fortress want to become and seeing its growth and getting there was amazing. Hope you can keep that up past the elf seige.

150 hrs and not one single underground siege for me. Even the elves really don't complain much, which is pretty wild because I tend to pull up my draw bridge every time they are crossing with their wagon, and for those who never did this, it is a sight to behold.

I love the barely concealed passive-aggression Krugg has for the detail on the amulet, just knowing the agony he’s going to be in creating a physical image of so detailed an artifact. 🤣

I like how in Northbridge arts and crafts, the king looks like the most honourable and noble dwarf in the kingdom. In real life, he looks like is trying to sell you a stolen car.
And now, the elves have an air force.
