id say the quality has more than improved, your art work has really come into its own. if, youtube ever stops paying the bills you could easily hire your skill out as an illustrator. appreciate the work you put into these videos they have been the highlight of my week for many years now and may, Idrath ever smile on your fortunes.

Slaying a horde of Ribbit Raiders is surely a good way to start the episode. Idrath be praised indeed!

I love the cavern wars.

I had a fortress where there were dozens of trogladytes a year, and a seemingly endless horde of these little lizard guys. I had a huge, open cavern, and had gone down to farm. Had to seal in the farms, and have constant patrols around the exit into the cavern, with an airlock where guards were constantly stationed.

It was constant bloodshed. Eventually, i didnt even train troops. I sent noobies on patrol, and my elites got the joy of extra off months and guarding the airlock.

Some of the original ones had killed hundreds of enemies by the time i left the fort behind.

All these little "pointless" things you do like special underwater tombs is why you're so fantastic. What makes these dwarves feel so real and alive is when you do that. It's not part of the game, it's something you chose to do, and that's what makes me feel like these dwarves really do have a unique culture and view on things. I love how you do that, how you give so much life to every world you make.

This episode has really inspired me to pay a little more attention to my dwarves' rooms and personal preferences. There are often too many names and bodies to keep track of in a bustling fort, but taking the time to tailor a room to a specific dwarf every now and then seems like a great way to get to know them and remember who's who.

A Pelican Roc? Now, that is the stuff of nightmares, hehe. A bus sized bird swooping down and scooping everything in its massive bill before swallowing it whole. I am impressed by your creative spin (as always)!

My dad passed away 7 years ago. Last night your voice and storytelling reminded me *so much* of him telling me bedtime stories, that I actually got up and got a book he used to read me, cried a bit, and went back to bed.

Thanks for your art and your narrative. You've made me feel like a young kid again. Here's hoping when I have kids I can narrate as nicely as you do.

Damn, the buildup for that Roc to just get absolutely bodied by a single dwarf LOL

I love the artistic liberties you took with the creatures of this world. I especially like the elves design.

I love how your Roc is a seabird, since the fort takes place over the ocean. It's a wonderful touch.

The mention at the end of the toads not wanting to reproduce made me remember why I now embark with 2 boars and 3 sows if I want to start a farming industry. Because once I ended up underground in a haunted biome with no livestock as the single boar I brought along had no interest in the sows I had penned with him. 😂

Nothing brings me more joy than finding a new Krugg video posted after a long day of work

If taking the extra week is what has catapulted your art into the stratosphere then I'd say it's absolutely worth it. That Roc attacking ships piece is truly, in the artistic sense, sublime. Beautiful, majestic and terrifying.

I like the idea of giving veterans and heros special bedrooms. Have to do that my next game

i really need to start paying more attention to my dwarves needs, the way you cater to their preferences is really admirable and adds so much character to the fortress
