Should you Buy Far Cry 4 in 2021? (Review)

Far Cry 4 is an action-packed fun filled adventure with lots to do and see. The game released in 2014 and still hold up very well in 2020 with some great graphics. The story isn't perfect but with a good villain, fun gameplay, and an amazing open world the game is worth checking out. I really liked Far Cry 4. I remember when it came out lots of people dumped on it claiming FC3 was better. Vaas was definitely cool but overall Far Cry 4 is my favourite.

Started with FC 5. Liked it enough to try FC 4. Ended up beating 4 before beating 5. 4 is awesome.

This game is amazing! It was one of the 1st I played when I bought my PS4 and I enjoyed everything. Specially the stealth, I always tried to take outposts without being seen, it's so satisfying when you do everything perfectly! Primal is also great, but when you have the stronger animals it gets much easier to beat the missions.

Far Cry 5 is my personal favourite in the series. The environment, gameplay, missions. It's all improved upon the previous titles. I did enjoy 4 and 3 too, just not as much

The thing that pissed me off the most replaying this game are the animations. You are a sitting duck while healing or jumping on stuff and it gets annoying af.

It's almost 2022 and this game is still on my top 10 list of best games ever played. I am currently installing it again just to play through the story. The co-op multiplayer option is great which gives your friends a chance to cause destruction the whole way along side you making the game that much more fun. There is always a challenge to take on and more places to explore like hidden caves and fishing docks. Every outpost is built differently in different locations with different enemy routs to analyze for your best approach stealth or loud making this game more of a challenge. My personal favorite approach is stealth with a sniper. Going loud is fun to but you won't make as much xp. Everything you can do in this game has a purpose which is why its better than most newer games today. A lot of games that I've played that are new has to many problems and bugs that make it less enjoyable like GTA 5 and Call of Duty. Everything about FarCry 4 is just perfect and I would recommend it to everyone. I have tried FarCry 5 and the only thing that I like about it was the graphics, beautiful scenery and the dog. The dog reminds me of my dog Toby. Looks just like him and acts just like him to. Toby passed away a couple of years ago which is why I play FarCry 5 and the small towns reminds me of my favorite town in the world so far Fordland Missouri.

I kinda liked far cry 5's focus on gameplay over the story. The villain is actually pretty good and the freeform open world is really fun to explore. I liked the removal of radio towers in favor of natural discovery and the weapons were pretty good too. The companion system is also kinda fun to mess around with and the open world has some pretty wacky shit that happens, mostly due to the ai. I wouldn't call it a train wreck but 4 is definetely a tad better. Heres hoping far cry 6 brings the best of both games

great review, exactly my views on fc4. i appreciate you pointed out twice how beautiful this game looks and feel because whenever i recommend this game to my friends the first thing i say is how breathtaking the visuals are. The adventure lasted a while and i enjoyed every bit of it. Unlike many people, i hold this game in very high regard despite its flaws.

I loved far cry 4 because in Far cry 4 there are so many dialouge in hindi which is an indian language mostly the npc swear in this game but It always made me smile throughout the game

Farcry 4 was definitely a favorite. I just dug out my ps3 and picked up an original copy of Far cry 3 because I’ve never played it before. Looking forward to a Farcry 3 review.

I have not played far cry 4 but I have played far cry 1, far cry 3 and far cry 5 they were awesome specially far cry 3 was the best and by seeing your review I need to try far cry 4 also

this game has no flaws, plus the shangri-la pieces were amazing imo, this is my favorite game ever.only things that are missing is the poker minigame and also the arena was awesome i still play it 4 5 years every week
