I recently had this, it lasted for about a month, did All the checks. Visited the hospital frequently and everytime the results were normal. Nothing was wrong with me they said. So I'm posting this because during that period I was worried and depressed, you guys aren't alone. Don't feel bad, just check it doctor Incase it's anything serious, but during my research they said it's not harmful

I'm glad you've this channel. I see so many channels and information for women and much less for men. Especially those who give so much details about a theme. Thank you

Co-worker had that happen in his early 40s. Short story, he had a very aggressive prostate cancer and had his prostate removed at Sloan Kettering in NYC. Several side effects hounded him for years. Lived for about 30 more years. Don't ignore this condition.

I thought I’d add my experience as others leaving theirs helped me as well as the video. I’m 46 and had this a few times before it stopped for months then came back again. Prostate, testicle exam and PSA test negative. I was properly sweating over the MRI results nonetheless but they showed nothing but a cyst. However reassuring the advice and comments here are I’d still say to get checked out. It’s a lot better than wondering.

I'm glad to see this video. I'm 57 and this happens randomly once in a while. I do take a blood thinner, also all the classic symptoms of an enlarged prostate. PSA test is within normal ranges and the last one was lower than the previous one so doctor is not currently concerned about cancer. It's usually a random one time thing and the next several times there is no visible blood.

Dr. Malik....thank you for your expertise and addressing issues I'm sure many men are afraid to ask. Bravo and keep it up. Wish you were here in NJ. You'd be my doctor for sure. Once again thank you.

I had a prostate biopsy done. The Dr. told me there will be blood in my semen, urine and stool, it it would clear up. Not to worry about it. He was right.

35 now. Have had this issue on and off since I was 27. I’ve been to the doc a few times about it, had a cystoscopy, ultrasound, tests, but the doctors don’t know the cause. There’s no pain and the doctors assured me it’s benign, but it’s just frustrating having it happen, not knowing why it happens, or having a way of fixing it.

Medical science has a long way to go.

I had this problem and a urologist told me not to worry about it.
It kept happening. Then I started seeing a chiropractor for a aching back. After a few visits to the chiropractor the blood went away.
I swear the chiropractor fixed it.
Hes also helped me with headaches and sinus congestion. Now I trust him more than any doctor.

I started getting bloody sperm when I was 23. It was red like tomato ketchup. And then it would dim to brown and eventually subside after 5 days. Then it returned a month later, every month, until I was 29. The last time it happened, I was so distraught, and so sad, and I literally prayed and said, "I don't know if your god or jesus or Mohammed, but I need this to stop. I promise to try harder to be a good person." It never came back. True story. No idea if it was coincidence, devine intervention, alien telepathic healing, placebo effect, or mind over matter, but I hated the monthly red sperm and I prayed it away. Never tried to pray for anything before, and only for my dying nephew since.

Excellent discussion and information. I have given you a couple much less positive feedbacks on other topics and presentations but with this topic and your explanations you show yourself to be a knowledgeable and serious doctor. Thank you for an excellent presentation.

Had this happen once in my 40s. Urologist attributed it to a prostate stone. No pain, no recurrence. But it was shocking to see bright red where you don't normally.

If the doctors you see only assure you that your case is benign but your symptom persists and you get frustrated about it, I would suggest you search for varicocele that is usually the the underlying cause.

I had this happen when I was around 25. Both my wife and I freaked out. She called the doctor and he said not to worry about it unless it persist. After a couple of days it disappeared and I've never seen it again. I guess it is pretty common it just shakes you a bit when you actually experience it.
