The ‘unauthorised release’ of classified US intelligence documents reportedly revealed Israel’s preparations for its potential retaliatory attack on Iran. The documents suggest that Tel Aviv is planning to strike Tehran with previously unknown weapons.
These documents reportedly originated from the American National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (GEOINT) and the National Security Agency (NSA). The documents cite the existence of weapons including “Golden Horizon” air-lanched ballistic missiles (ABLMs). Rocks ABLM, another weapon mentioned in the document, is reportedly developed by Rafael Advanced Defence Systems.
The first document, published between Oct 15-16 is titled "Israel: Air Force continues preparation for strike on Iran and conducts a second Large-Force Employment Exercise." The document says the IAF* has been observed handling 16 Golden Horizon ALBMs and 40 Rocks stand-off air-launched missiles.
