FULL Tool Durability Analysis [ACNH]
Показать описание
Animal Crossing New Horizons is finally here, and with it, came tool durability. Love it or hate it, tool durability is an important concept to understand to enjoy this game to the fullest.
FINALIZED UPDATES:
-GOLD SLINGSHOT CONFIRMED OFFICIALLY TO HAVE 60 DURABILITY
(People keep thinking it is 40, but it’s 100% confirmed by the official guidebook and myself to be 60)
-GOLD NET CONFIRMED BY MYSELF TO HAVE 90 DURABILITY
-GOLD ROD CONFIRMED BY MYSELF TO HAVE 90 DURABILITY
-For the Net: Catching Cherry Blossoms DOES hurt durability
-For the Rod: Catching an Egg DOES hurt durability
-The rock timer does NOT pause tool durability. It just won’t bring it to 0.
-Nets/Rods do NOT break during the tournament timers.
-Hitting villagers with the net DOES NOT take durability.
-Digging up STUMPS does NOT hurt the shovel. Strange.
-Mystery islands: I’ve heard many stories in the comments of people having weird experiences with durability on mystery islands. I just tested this on the most recent update. I took a flimsy axe with 1 durability left, one with 20 left, and one unused. All broke on the 40th swing respectively. Maybe the stuff I saw was a bug and is now patched, or it only happens on certain rare islands, or people just can’t count.
-This concludes the updates for Tool Durability. Thank you for the support. :)
NOTE: For those of you who keep calling this "not a full guide" .... It is full. All of the information is here, updated in the pinned comment, description, and the document that I referenced continuously throughout the video. Also, I called it a FULL guide for that fact that this doesn't just go over the numbers, it goes over everything about the subject. Thank you for understanding.
I decided to fully analyze this mechanic, and answer every question I could possibly think of about the topic. I spent over 60 hours creating this video, so your support is greatly appreciated. I would like to note, I put a lot of titles because it makes the video shorter. You can always pause to read some extra notes I put on screen! :) Remember, if you believe I missed something, let me know in the comments and I will leave a reply or test it out. I have seen nothing but misconception in the animal crossing community lately, including on big YouTube videos, Discord servers, and articles. People love to just throw out statistics without types of confirmation. Well, here is your confirmation (on everything that I was 100% on, of course). Lastly, the watermarks are there now only because I had my content stolen recently, and I can't afford to have that happen again. This video involved way too much hard work haha. Thanks for watching everyone, and do keep in mind that the Google Doc is a live page that I will continuously update with new or fixed information!
