I go to the same restaurant in london all the time with my family. It’s a wonderful place for a nice lunch, the service is fast when you get into the restaurant, and as we have been going here for years we know what times to arrive to miss the long line. Entrecout is lovely, and i highly recommend in london. Never been anywhere else tho :)

That's how you know it's a tourist trap. They ask you for medium or medium rare instead of using the french system.

Everybody say its mid and a tourist trap, but, as a French, its one of the Best entrecôte of Paris, its not for nothing that its well known, there is a lot of wait but try it !

There is a similar chain in Quebec, L’Entrecote St Jean. I’ve been to the one in Montreal and in Quebec City. Same concept. The food is AMAZING! And I am a foodie, and not too easy to impress. I think, there should be more restaurants like this: not trying to please everyone and having a huge menu but concentrating on doing something specific REALLY good

It’s a trick that business do, much like canes or chick fila, limit what the customer can get and it seems AMAZING

I’m Parisian and it’s not the original restaurant it’s just a relay of it. This one is “le relais de l’entrecôte” while the original one is called “le relais de venise”. Basically the person who owned the first restaurant had 3 or 4 descendants and they all wanted to inherit it, at the end one of them got it while the others went and opened their own restaurants and this one is one of these. (Sorry for my spelling English’s not my first language)

This reminds me of a place in corsica which i’ve been going to since i was a kid. It basically a bar usually but then during Saturdays and Fridays, it’s an all you eat mussels spot with unlimited fries. No menu, just mussels :D

It's a fact. We've eaten there several times on our trips to Paris. Tasty and a very good deal.

It's a tourist trap, I live in Paris for 12 years went there once when my Canadian friends invited me. I can tell you it's pretty average, actual Parisians rearly go to places like that.

Unfortunately this one became way too touristy and went down in quality over the years. If you still want the original experience visit the one in Geneva, Swizterland. They are still using top quality ingredients and use the french system to ask for how you want it cooked (blue, bloody, medium, well done).

And if you are in Geneva they have a branch there as well…. A millions percent guaranteed goodness!!! I love mine rare😍
