Bought an S22 a couple of weeks ago. Debating going in and switching to the A54.

The battery is an issue, then again, I want a good camera for my trips. A larger screen would be nice and 100€ back as well. Not as good for any potential games thought, but longer security updates.

Since am on budget am go with a54 I don’t need all those features

its simple if you have INR 60000 take s22
and if your budget is half of that take A54
Both phones are best in their respective segment. S22 is best in the S series and A54 is top in the A series. I personally owned s7edge before then owned s9+ in 2018 and still owning it. So its been almost 6 years now. Yes I got 5 years update and the last update was on April 2022. 3 flaws/Cons I am facing with my s9+ are 1- its battery need to replace as its degraded 2-It stopped getting software and security updates which in turn might be risky for online payment and other social media usage as can be easily hacked. 3rd no 5g
But the pros
processor is snapdragon
ip 68 water dust resistance.
Camera is still better than the A series
Aluminum glossy body
Spo2 sensor
NFC
Samsumg Dex
wireless charging
and the list will go on and on
And yes the battery still gives a decent 6hrs performance with continuous usage and 1 day for normal random usage.
Phone performance till date has never lagged and its buttery smooth.
Concedering high cost of living in 2023 I might repair the battery and use this phone for another 5 years or buy an A54 compromising few features to get a secured browsing and online experience.
Update:- Got a very good deal bought 2 phones in a budget of one. Got S20fe for my mom and s21fe for me in 50k range total.. Got best deal ever. Yes new directly ordered from Samsung shop app. Mom and me are very happy with the new handsets. Yes the best part is sold the s7edge6gb64gb gold for 6k and s9+6gb128gb lilac purple for 10k

WTF with the prices... A54 is 300 euros and the S22 is 600. Where did you get an S22 for 500? And i'm even commenting on this for over 11 months after the video.

I had to switch from my s22 to the a54 just because of the battery. I miss having a good camera, but the s22 was the worst battery on a phone I've ever seen. Couldn't even make it half the day hardly. You can literally watch thar percentage drop while the screen is unlocked. The a54 battery is great, tho!
