To be honest Witcher 3 + RT + HD Reworked Mod in first person is not that far of for being old tech now. The Question is can this highend models, textures, foliage, effects be scaled well enough for a open world rpg wich even works on consoles?

It looks cool, but I keep sceptical if the change from RED Engine to Unreal Engine was the right choice. Best looking UE 5 game is Black Myth: Wukong and there we have really narrow levels to explore in comparison to a Witcher game.

Stalker 2 almost achieves this, It's just fully open-world, so it can't be as good as this for now, so I think W4 litteraly can be like this

The graphics are beautiful, but you don't need that for immersion. Look how static the POV is. If you add camera noise while walking or even standing there (swaying/movement etc) you're basically in the game and the entire thing would look like a cutscene.

But devs won't do this because players (not me) get motion sickness. Oh well.

Ue 5 is good but developers need to understand how to do all textures and update them without starting from the ground. Same happened with stalker 2, more then 60% is from stalker 1 and never got a reworked or updated. Some parts of the game are perfect, others look like a game 20 years ago.

Unreal 5 looks photorealistic but man does it suck with the little things like wind moving the trees and grass, so static like a photo.
