This really shows how heroes and villains aren’t defined by the tragedies that happen to them, but by the way they handle them

I love Jester and in particular his final line. No theatrics, no "Go, I'll hold them off..." heroics, he just calls his long time friend a bald cunt and goes to buy him time, knowing he'll die doing so.

It just adds even more depth to his and Luthors characters, because it's something only a pair who've truly known each other for a long time could accept as their final words to one another.

An alternate universe where villains are forced to become the hero. I wish the DCEU would explore something like that since the majority of DC deals with the multiverse. I feel like a movie like that would catch people off guard.
