Necro is a step in the right direction but they still need a sticky dot and longer/permanent summons.

Necros got.... the bare minimum. But at least they are the bare minimum that we've been specifically asking for. These skills still have problems (that we have brought up on the forums again and again). PvP players aren't going to stand in your tether's AOE. Not only that, but we aren't going to stay in range of our own AOE. We're going to have to stay mobile, so these immobile skills are still a problem. The class still doesn't have a sticky DOT. And I want the blastbones skill cost being determined by the highest resource. But what we got is better than nothing.

The undeath passive I can see giving 15 or 20 percent max to be more reasonable. Dropping down to 10 seems drastic

I am a casual necromancer, cuz i love the necro idea, is refreshing know about these updates. Necros really deserve more love from ZoS cuz they have all love from players.

What we need is unarmed skills, I need to punch every single Daedra I see.

Necro was Dead On Arrival for me. Instead of having cool permanent summons, like zombies, etc. we get throwing fire skulls, edge lord tombstones, and a skeleton that floats to an enemy and blows up into goo? Even worse, they want you to spam that every several seconds. The whole class plays badly and looks bad. Balance changes won't fix that. It's the worst Necromancer take I've ever experienced in playing games for almost thirty years.


How cool would it have been to get a "summon a draugr warrior for 20 seconds that cleaves your enemies with a giant sword..." or "summon a plague zombie that mauls and poisons enemies in an aoe". But nah, we got a Halloween skulls, a big tombstone, and a zappy string that sticks to a corpse.

Well, running Ice Staff Warden isn't going to be viable anymore unless you run Frostbite. Everything is going to Lightning Staff now which kinda sucks, in pvp having the ideal 30k health is usually the standard and you are threading the line from the Minor Toughness that Green Balance skill tree has so its not going to be good trying to min max your damage around that. Overall, Warden has a damage nerf relying on Betty Netch as a damage increase isnt ideal especially when doing rotations in PVE, I dont think Piercing Cold was the main issue for the huge damage to tankyness ratio, its Glacial Presence that's giving that huge damage, they shouldve worked around that instead of gutting Ice Staff for Wardens as a whole.

Don't understand why they make all these changes to class because of PvP, not everyone is a PvP junkie needing to be in PvP all the time and these changes affect PvE builds also

Trample is still pretty much not the skill you're gonna slot in the bar outside of showing off to your friends that your epic mounts atk something.

The flail nerf is ridiculous being that was arcs only execute. Class skills are becoming bland.

One bar Necros basically got nothing, the gravelords sacrifice change is very nice though but we really need a full rework on the whole class

I wish they'd make a stamina morph for the Templar Spear charge and I'd like to see a change to the Javlin animation as it always looks like it's landing in the enemies foot the way it arcs.

I already use Blur on my mag NB and wasn't using concealed weapon so this change will be more beneficial to me as I could now keep the offensive skills I have already and swap out the shadow skill I rarely use that's there for the hp buff.

I mained a NB at launch and even then I thought it didn’t make sense to have veiled strike in the Shadow line, so I like this change. It is a very minor buff to crit chance as well. I would have preferred putting the damage back into Funnel Health over the additional healing. Necro changes are nice for anyone that already likes that play style, but it is not good enough to convince me to play Necro.

I"m glad to hear this news about Necro. This was a long time coming. Glad they adjusted the Sacrificial Bones and you will be finally able to use it outside of combat.
