It was a big patch but other than the XP buffs, insta-teleport to Nightmare Dungeons and bug fixes I wouldn't say it's very significant regarding classes. Increasing Basic Skill damage by 1~3% is pretty underwhelming, but like you said, at least there were no nerfs. Blizzard always had this terrible habit of "no fun allowed" and nerf bombing everything, so the fact there were no nerfs is a big win.

I wish they would have added "build" tabs to pick between. If you got a bone necro or a blood necro or a shadow necro build to swith between, you can pick between 3 choices of build you made, like the transmog outfits tab.

Last Night I Was North Of The Map, Level 19 Druid. (NO PETS/MINIONS) I Walked Outside For A Smoke Break. Walked Back IN To Play And I Was Level 20 And The Exp Bar Kept Slowly Going Up While Just Standing There >< So I Exited The Game lol

These changes are extremely underwhelming. Spirit gain goes up by one point? ONE point? Core gameplay change is that Minions will always attack a cursed enemy, so maybe curse the boss and get them to focus fire on that? Iron Maiden now does a lot more damage and may be a viable pick now...maybe.

Glad to see necromancer blood builds getting a bit more love, with the blood lance, Rathmas vigor, and ultimate cooldown reduction aspect getting buffs.

Listing Necro minions now attacking enemies you cast a curse on as a buff is frankly insulting. That should be considered a bugfix if anything. Literally none of these changes actually affect endgame necro builds, do nothing to fix our movement speed issues, and Minions are still absolutely worthless unless you have the Ring of Mendeln, which I still have not seen once from from when I entered nightmare at level 53, to where I stand today at 96.

I think you forgot to include "underwhelming" after "massive" when referring to the class buffs. They're utter crap.

This is absolutely a “buff patch” for players still leveling in the campaign (where apparently the majority of the player base is according to what they said in the fireside chat) so this makes those people feel stronger without their proper invested endgame builds. Those of us in end game will see practically no difference with these changes. Season 1 patch will likely see bigger meta shakeups imo

As a Necro this does nothing for my build or any other builds. Bone spear is still op and everything else sucks

Sadly, my druid is already leveled to 75 and these buffs seem more tailored to improve the leveling experience. Druid is still going to need 1 or 2 hard to find uniques before coming online. Happy to see they're moving in the right direction.

i did a 42 NM dungeon. got 2.1 mil exp. it got buffed. but its barely anything in terms of comparing this to the regular dungeon spam.

This patch basically ignored anything relevant to Sorc.

Crackling Energy went from 15% to 20% so a 33% buff.. but 33% of ~5000 damage crits is ~6500 only . This needed to just be much higher. The only reason to want Crackling energy is due to mana gains or CDR from Keystone. Is anyone actually building into crackling energy damage and tell me what your numbers are?

Charged Bolts got a wopping 2% boost? Laughable

Fireball, Chain Lightning, Lightning Spear Base Damage/cooldown (not the damage boosting part), Hydra must all not exist.
I know these are "Playable" skills to level with but in general they are not that great for anything single target. The best one being Chain lightning which has a very clear weakness of only hitting a set amount of enemies and in a big group you cant hit the buffing elite mob.

The buffs to the Aspects are also pretty much a joke as they buffed aspects no one uses due to the mechanic not the value attached to them. Guess its another season of Frost Sorc doing everything.

Dropping the mana cost of Fireball might see it getting played, but at the same time, its usually only used as an enchantment slot, and even then most times its replaced with firebolt.

The necromancer buffs are too small especially sad to see nothing for minions.

Pleeease remove the 5x cap on blighted corpse explosion and fix the the visuals.. shadowblight Necro is awesome to play but falling short in endgame.

Glad to see all the things that got fixed but looks like Ice Sorcerer still reins supreme. Really didn’t change anything except make ice even stronger. Not enough in the others to warrant more than a few points change maybe. Sad to still see hydra and ice blade being nearly useless 😓 but thanks for the update!

Sadly, nothing done to address the damage delta that exists between DoT builds and Direct Damage builds (since DoTs lose two whole damage multipliers in both Critical and Overpower).

Happy with the biggest Necro change, of being able to direct our Minions to a degree with Curses, but it is a double-edged sword, because it also just turns Minion builds into now needing THREE mandatory ability slots used, making the idea of contribution through the player even harder.
