Never once had an issue with performance while playing LS nor heard of people having them. I think it's a feign nerf and mask it as a performance issue because they dont want to appear going back on their word of not nerfing builds mid season

i understand that things are not sounding that bad in this update, but we need to look at the last year, if you are playing a sorc and are not really nervous you have not been paying attention. every time there is an announcement that effects sorcerer players i get worried. i know what they say, but it has been shown that what they do, like forgetting a component of an update, is something else completely.

With my almost perfect LS gear, I can still easily do T8 hordes. HOWEVER its very noticeable (monsters dying slightly slower) especially at the boss.

I feel like the buff should've been 90-120 instead of 50-80

And that still probably wouldnt be enough for people reaching the same lvls in the pit

So we're still getting 1 shot by the aeither fiend as soon as we start the hoard and every time it spawns

the nerf on the mid to lower end is very noticeable especially when it comes to fighting bosses as the time to kill takes significantly longer.

Ring of Mendeln has a bug where the minion mastery is not showing in stats. Hopefully this gets fixed too.

Splintering energy was a massive nerf. They didnt provide anywhere near enough dmg to it to be worth the nerf of arching.

I think it's worth noting that depending on how builds are spec'd this can either be relatively negligible for some, but very noticable for others. (Eg. staff splintering vs. off-hand set ups, cooldown mastery vs. conj. mastery on winterglass, fists of fate rolls etc). It's much more necessary now to adapt to a singular specific variant of the build, and at this stage in the season where people already have 12/12 MW perfectly rolled gear and a finalised build they were happy with - it's a HUGE ask to switch those items over. Also, the lag issues don't seem to be fixed at all - which just defeats the only upside and positive intentions this patch had. Personally, I was wrapping up with this season anyway - and this seems like the perfect opportunity to duck out and wait until the expansion to play again.

Did the patch change minimum required level on items? I have some that have level 80 or 90 to equip but I thought they got lowered

You don’t get it. Sorcerer has been in a bad place for over a year consistently. It shouldn’t be getting any nerfs at all. If anything they need to improve their servers because the arcing wasn’t even that serious
