When I was learning about Islam (before I was Muslim) many years ago I remember reading about the treatment of the prisoners of war. It profoundly impacted the preconceived ideas I had about Muslims. The horrific nature of what we are currently seeing in world affairs, im sure, is opening many people's eyes to what their hearts are telling them.
