Good info in this video with the dpc and lintel. Invaluable for non-brickies like me. Yours is one of 3 "must watch" UK brickie channels. Keep it up!

Cracking video again Izzy after watching a few I am now subscribing as I love the way you present yourself, great attitude and work ethic. If your apprentice listens to you and matches your superb attitude to life he will go far, so good luck to him he has a great teacher to learn from. Keep em coming lad. 👍

Cavity slabs pushing the blocks is a pain. We just do the cavity 10mm bigger and then no problems. Fresh slabs out the pack help too before they have time to swell

Spot on again Izzy been watching every upload. I like your style of teaching, most bricklayers are arseholes and it's rare to learn off a bloke like yourself. I perp my block exactly the way you do 🤣. Enjoy your weekend buddy

I definatly learned a few tips here. I didnt know about the pad stone under steel and few other bits. You really need a rode wireless mic or a go pro media mod or something. Audio is half a video and honestly most this footage should be considered unusable. because of the wind noise. You need a wind foam on the mic to stop that. Also in the edit when you turn around you should put the audio gain up a few then when you turn and face the mic turn the audio wave down again. That is why a wireless mic would save time also because no matter what way your facing the audio is the same. -DB can be used also if its too loud on a certain moment. If you pee on the mic or clap next to is then zoom in all the way in the audio wave, razor tool and snip each side of just the pee of the clap, them right click, audio wave, try -20 DB and work your way up from there. The audio wave in the edit that should never be in the red once during the whole video. keep at top of the green and balance your whole video out this way. Keep it up.

Only way for an apprentice to learn 1-2-1 and on a small job with a good teacher. Start with the small detailed jobs and build them up. Apprentices' learn so many bad habbits on big commercial sites and dont learn how to work out problems for themselves like on private jobs. Well done your credit to the trade and the brickie that thought you. I hope the young lad understands what hes got 👍.

The drill you have is better than an impact driver for self tapping screws mate.
