Singapore did not left Malaysia, they were expelled. The only nation in the world who gained independence unwillingly.

Have you guys ever think why Japan seafood is so much fresher than our Malaysia seafood? Because this crazy south China sea has been the craziest sea on the planet since history of mankind till this very days. There are too many countries surrounding the ocean which all have high population. The key thing why fresh and high quality seafood in Malaysia is quite rare is due to our Malacca Strait that lying on the most strategic sea strait in the world, it controls path between east and west. So the sea pollution issue in South China sea is highest compared to any other ocean in the world! Especially Malaysia sea... That's why our sea smells unbearable compared to most countries. I don't fuxking care who claims the sea. I just worry on the sea water quality because I'm a seafood lover.

Peninsular Malaysia is home to the capital Kuala Lumpur. It covers most of the so-called Malay peninsula. Its neighbours are Singapore to the South and Thailand to the North. This part of Malaysia is more developed than East Malaysia in terms of urbanisation and population.

The sad things is, we from the east Malaysia didn't get any improvement in our economic then the West side and yet most of the recourse, like you mention such as oil come from the East part. It really sad tbh :/. I mean why the heck do we only get 5% revenue for it and the rest go to the West Malaysia when it's our resources to begin with. Do they forgot about the referendum? The agreement that we made if we enter this country?

I'm not mad..no..I'm proud of being a Malaysian, but I hate how they treat us like we didn't even matter.

per Wikipedia:
On 31 August 1963, North Borneo attained self-government. The idea for the formation of a union of the former British colonies, namely, Malaya, Singapore, Sarawak and North Borneo was mooted as early as the late 19th century, but it was Tunku Abdul Rahman who officially announced the proposal of wider federation in May 1961. It also seemed that this idea was supported by the British.[40] There was a call for complete independence on that date by it was denied by the British Governor who remained in power until Malaysia Day.[41] In 1962, the Cobbold Commission was set up to determine whether the people of Sabah and Sarawak favoured the proposed union. The commission had found that the union was generally favoured by the people but wanted certain terms and conditions incorporated to safeguard the interest of the people. The commission had also noted some opposition from the people but decided that such opposition was minor. The Commission published its report on 1 August 1962 and had made several recommendations. Unlike in Singapore, however, no referendum was ever conducted in Sabah.[42]

Most ethnic community leaders of Sabah, namely, Mustapha representing the Muslims, Donald Stephens representing the non-Muslim natives, and Khoo Siak Chew representing the Chinese, would eventually support the formation. An agreement was signed by Tunku Abdul Rahman, Harold Macmillan, the British Prime Minister, and William Goode, the last Governor of North Borneo, signed on behalf of the territory on 1 August 1962 putting to paper the agreement to form the union. The intention had been to form Malaysia on 31 August 1963 but due to objections from the Philippines and Indonesia, the formation had to be postponed to 16 September 1963. At that point North Borneo, as Sabah, was united with Malaya, Sarawak and Singapore, to form Malaysia.[43][44] To safeguard the interest of North Borneo in the new federation, a 20-point agreement was entered into between the federal and the state government.

Sabah and Sarawak please stop blame peninsular but you guys should Blane the government...if you said sabah andcsarawak produce oil and gas but do you forget peninsularcalso produce oil and gas ...two state in peninsular terengganu and Kelantan also was denied their oil and gas by the federal if you keep blame the west Malaysia it also include terengganu and Kelantan ..sabah and Sarawak still get 5% royalties from that resources but Kelantan and terengganu get nothing...so let us unite together as Malaysian and find the solution rather keep blaming each other
