Hi, Chinese viewer here. To explain the situation where console gaming is not as popular here in China as many other countries, you need to know there was an infamous "Console Gaming Ban" by the Ministry of Culture from 6/2000 to 1/2014. IMO, every pop culture requires opportunities to take root and time to fully develop. Though Nintendo's SFC and SNES were once popular in my parents generation, we missed the golden era (PS2, Wii, Xbox360) of gaming. During the ban, PC and mobile gaming have thrived and taken place of console gaming till this day. But the good thing is I do see big sales of Switch and PS5 in recent years by younger generation, and most of them were sold online because there are not many retail stores that sell consoles and console games. The popularity of console gaming seems to be growing.

Hey fellow Xi'an dweller, I liked the video, been going to Saige for about 13 years and it's always an 'adventure'! In the old days, there were huge amounts of fakes but around 6-7 years ago they cleaned it up a bit. Do you have an Xbox then? I haven't been able to download xbox games for a while now.
