The profit motive has a, great deal to do with it. Inflation is manmade. WHY do we not simply care and share. Too much selfishness and greed and an ill-divided society. Love is the answer

its funny cause iv seen the same graph before except the other graph shows real wages rising until the 70s and then flatlining from around thatcher became prime minister and reaganomics.

Inflation has never gone away its always been there but now for our £1 we get 20 pence of value/stuff probably less like 15 14 pence of value so the time has come for currency reset but the bank of england/central baks are pushing it down the road. Answer buy physical silver and gold
