what im concerned abt is the fact the bed had a stain and there was a hole (what jake thought was a bug) and that couldve been a bullet hole.

I was so concerned for Johnnie and Jake watching this cause with sleazy, cheap hotels in urban areas like NYC if you’re young and “new” to the building you’re a huge target for trafficking or getting robbed and I fear that’s what the guys they heard were plotting about.

I've been homeless for about 2 years now with my siblings and mother, we stay in a hotel as its the only safe option we have right now. I hate it here and its been pretty miserable not having the safety or privacy of home. Can't cook or eat dinner normally but I was always pretty grateful for the 4 walls and roof I have but this made me even more grateful, stay safe out there ❤

I literally stayed there once with a trip up to new york with my dad because it was the cheapest he could find . We left at 2am because there was screaming and smashing objects in the room next door. I CANNOT believe this video exists

Here in nyc there are many hotels that provide “housing” for homeless people, while also providing rooms for any who wants to come in like normal hotels. A lot of people just know oh that’s one of those hotels so you don’t stay there. Like you said that’s definitely a “community” and randoms don’t come by on the regular. You guys definitely were a target as soon u walked in so thank god you guys got out fast !

The whole room and check in place reminds me of the show “strangers from hell” Same room, same check in layout and it also has thin walls. The restrooms are also public in the show 😭it was a cheap room and the plot is killing or making the main character a psychopath. Felt like I was rewatching it 😭😭😭

Can we actually talk about how sad it is that real life people have to live in places like this because of poverty. Yes it was very scary for them to go there and I’m glad there ok. However these are peoples everyday lives we are talking about. And Jake and his friend should be very grateful that they get to go stay at a nice hotel after. It’s kinda upsetting to see people profiting off of other’s misfortunes and acting the way they did. Like yes honey the real world is very scary
