"This is drastically exaggerated."

Thanks, I wasn't sure.

That animation of the guy burning and not being able to escape it *while standing right next to a pool full of water* is low key hilarious.

the immense amount of arrogance that architect has, to not even admit his mistakes and offer counter measures to reduce its effect, but to instead shift the blame on "not having the tools to detect the problem", as if every other skyscraper in the world is a heatgun too, but to moreover show a lack of respect for a human's life just because he's enjoying in vegas, is beyond appalling

This video demystifies the reason why every professional in the civil engineering industry, absolutely despises architects, and why in some countries, the company dont hire them, but rather civil engineers.

Look Viñoli.
If you really want that parabolic curved esthetic on your death ray buildings, make sure to direct the concave part away from the Sun so no light can converge from any angle. Like north, if built in the northern hemisphere.
The fact that a death ray building was designed and built facing the sun not once, but twice from the same architect! Almost feels like it was done on purpose.

Vinoly's 'master plan' is building a series of curved buildings across the world angled so that when they all align perfectly into the sky at the right time with the moon in the proper position, the death rays come together at a single point and create a temperature hot enough to vaporize the moon

1:11 This looks like a cutscene of Michael from GTA V.

A worker at the Flamingo in 2019 told me that so many countless suicides take place in these hotels that you'd never hear about, otherwise you wouldn't agree to stay there. Due to the pitfalls of gambling, and drug use, mainly. An Uber driver in Vegas also told me that every single day pedestrians are killed by cars and it is not widely reported, again as a way to ensure tourists aren't deterred.

Before watching the video:

I worked at the Vdara and it was originally condominiums but poor sales made it turn into a hotel.

I wasnt aware of the "ray of death" until my coworkers told me about it (it was kept under wraps for sure)

They told me that in order to prevent people from burning to death they added a bunch of umbrellas in the pool area to block the sun lol.

Architects will never stop ignoring physics. Only thing keeping reckless architects in check is hardworking structural engineers

We have this issue in Phoenix, AZ. It’s not uncommon for homeowner’s to have burn marks in their turf from the sun’s rays reflecting off a neighbor’s windows.
