How to cut a brick paver DIY with an angle grinder and a masonry blade. This is a great method if you're building a small patio, walkway, or other project, but for larger jobs I'd recommend a wet saw or a circular saw.

Measure and mark your pavers in pencil because a pencil mark isn't permanent, then use light pressure to make the cut. Don't press too hard or the blade will start to heat up, which can wear it out quicker.

Once the cut is made, clean the edge with the side of the blade.

Make sure an leave about a 16th inch so the pavers fit together tighter, with enough room for joint sand.

Or, get a mason's or bricklayer's hammer and hit the line with the pointy bit. It will cleave in half, usually with one hit. It also only takes half a second instead of the 45 seconds of using a saw.
