For the best and fresh foods, it's better to have a farming way of life. For example, to always have fresh eggs raise chickens that give extra large eggs and protect them. Have mini milk pastorizer for milk cows. Have the ability for the chickens and milk cows to live underground and so forth.

All of these foods have different shelf lives so they need to put dates and know when to replace them. It's better to buy all of there foods from one company so that they know all the foods they bought have a shelf life of 25 years. That too could be a fault too, but either way just be prepared.
