It felt like it doesn't answer the question if local smartphone brands are dead or are still selling. Was expecting some research sa sales, or may mga phones pa sila ire-release. Parang naging crash course lang yung video kung bakit may local brands tayo dito. Informative padin naman but sabi ko nga, hindi sya masyado naexplain in detail. Nagconclude lang na it's not dead yet.

They should stop paying for celebrities for endorsement, they should try to do the same thing done by realme and xiaomi offering cheaper devices with much higher standard... Sayang lamang bayad ng Local Brands sa Local Celebrities kung di nila itataas ang quality at performance ng device nila... Mas better kung yung budget for paying celebs na mageedorse ng products nila eh ifocus na lamang sa Research and Development ng Smartphone products na inilalabas nila every year... Mas better din na mas patatagin nila at palakasin nila brand nila sa social media... Mas better din if gumamit sila ng Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipsets na ginagamit ng xiaomi at realme while lowering the price of their devices.. matuto sila magbenchmark sa Xiaomi and Realme na successful na sa bansa natin kahit di gumamit ng mga celebrities para iendorse products nila...

I have 2 Cherry mobile phones before, it helped me a lot nmn dati..
Flare X2 and Flare 5 ...
Ngayon I think these phones are good as gift for our Parents who are not concious sa specs Ng phone.

I had cherry mobile before, sakto lang. I had starmobile din when i was in college, okay lang tumagal saakin yun but the camera sucks ..my brother had my phone that time, he survived naman. I guess specs wise napag iiwanan na mga local brands... lalo na puro gaming phone na lumalabas ngayon, kung di man eh puro camera phone dhl mataas ang audience for social media sharing.... but i hope mkacope up sila... it is nice pa din to see local brands making irs way up when it comes to technology..

These brands are fine. But still not ready to make big impact in why should you buy them other than price.

Tanda ko nung kasagsagan ng flare 1 and titan dati yung mga fans ng myphone a919 na proud na proud na made in the Philippines daw mga phone nila. Hahaha!

They can't compete with other phone manufacturer's esp. Chinese companies which offers top notch specs with an affordable price! PH brands need to step up the game and change their design language for them to compete or rebrand them and change the design etc!

I think the Global Brands are started to emerge or rise here because of the quality, performance, cameras, and price.
Just like Samsung, IPhone, Huawei, Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, and Realme and other global smartphone brands. They are focusing more on good brands.

Noong Android 2.3 to 4.1 kalakasan ng Myphone at Cherry noon. Samsung palang magandang android kaya mabili locals. Nung dumating android 5+ anjan na huawei, oppo at vivo kaya namatay mga local brand.

Bad quality and bad services... Gaya ng cherry mobile walang demo kailangan mo pa bilhin muna bago mo matest un item kpag may defect un natest mo di nila papalitan agad ..pupunta ka pa sa service center nila para dun mapalitan...

Remember that budget and mid range phones from popular companies are much more affordable and feature rich now when compared to budget and midrange phones in the early 2010s.

Also, wait a few months for huge sales as most companies release a lot of different midrange phone models every year.

In short, you dont need to settle in a very cheap phone if you can get a budget or midrange phone from a known company with good features and quality at an affordable price.
