Way behind the comments time curve here (only just found your channel - good work lads). I learned to ride in summer 2024, finally (I’m 52) and bought one of these. Awesome bit of kit. I always wear a merino wool t shirt under it so it’s not next to the skin and it’s fantastic in hot weather in that configuration.

When it’s colder I’ve tried layering as Knox suggest, and as championed by Motolegends but they use the Klim Marrakesh as the armoured layer. Difference is you wear the Klim on the outside (it’s a ‘mesh’ jacket not an armoured shirt), with just a windproof/waterproof over it. With the Knox you wear it on the inside. In winter I wear (listed from inside to out): long sleeve merino or thermal tee, Knox Urbane Mk3, down puffa jacket and a Klim Zephyr windproof or Scott waterproofs on top. Toasty. I’ve worn a non-bike Belstaff Trialmaster over it too. So adaptable (and 200 notes cheaper than the Klim Marrakesh). Keep up the good work fellas and nice to see you’re back kicking round not far from where I grew up.

I have this jacket for the Los Angeles area; it's so perfect for the freeway, city, and off-road area here. Love it! I paired it with the Adventure Pants from Bohn Armir with the smaller 5 x 8" knee pads so I could wear my tall boots, Dainese Seeker. The Bohn pants have padding on the knee, thigh, hips, and tailbone. Perfect. The Knox MK3 is a hit!

I live in Brisbane Australia, and have been wearing the urbane pro mk2 for the past 12 months - Amazing jacket in hot weather - have just bought the urbane pro mk3 for this coming summer - waiting for it to arrive. Best hot weather jacket I’ve come across.

I purchased the Knox Urbane Pro Mk3 in July 2023. I’m a weekend warrior and I’ve put less than 40 hours of use on my jacket when the cuffs began to fray. I wrote the company directly as well as sending photos, to which they responded, that the frayed cuffs were a result of repeated abrasion from gloves, or likely wear from the Velcro closure on gloves. They said that they would not replace the jacket or refund my money. I was disappointed to say the least, particularly when “abrasion resistance“ is the company’s advertisement lead. Clearly, the material used at the cuffs is flimsy at best, and inconsistent with the durability of the rest of the jacket. I pride myself on taking meticulous care of my equipment, and for the company to suggest that the use of gloves on a motorcycle jacket caused this premature wear and damage is ridiculous and outrageous. These companies have a captive audience as well as regulatory capture to inflate their prices, and to advertise an abrasion resistant armored shirt that is now literally falling apart at the seams after less than 40 hours of use is shameful.

Try wearing the 'thumb loops' over your middle finger, it's a lot better as it doesn't twist the arms. 👍😁.

A great non biased review. I like to hear the negative bits as well.
What's the fit like for you? I tried the Mk 2 and it was cutting my arms off! The Mk 3 is supposed to be 'more relaxed'?
I really need the cooling - it gets really hot here on the other side of the world!

The Knox armer is a good idea but if you wear none armed outerwear it will get ripped to shreds in an accident , you need armer to take the blow when you come off . So I’ll be buying armed outer jacket plus air jacket.

Can you remove the protections and replace them? Also can it be washed in the washing machine?

I wasnt happy with the sizing. Says to measure chest and waist, but nothing about sleeves. My chest is a large but my waist is an xtra large. Looks like my arms could have been a medium as they are loose and long.

I got one last year different make but brilliant I had 3 Belstaff jackets that wasn’t for riding but look great now 👍

it is a stand alone warm weather jacket. Rather than armor to be worn under another jacket. It can be for extra protection or warmth of course. But the way you are presenting itcis wrong.
