I've been a fan of the Knox product range for quite sime time. Their layering system is so simple yet effective, and when i was looking for a solution to wear on warm days, the Knox Urbane Pro looked perfect....but wait, whats this....all the benefits of the Urbane Pro, but with pockets! Well I just had to get one to try, in this video i'll take you through both the safety and wearability of the garment.

I own one of these but without the pockets in full black. It will COOK you in London Traffic as it did me a couple of days ago (30C) otherwise it is absolutely a fantastic piece of kit.

Highly highly recommended. 100% agree on getting the extra bit of color to reflect a bit more of the light ! Makes you feel super safe a nd you can wear anything on top of it, Hoodie / Simple jacket its really really nice to have the flexbility on your top layer.

I really was on the point of buying one. My mate showed me his and the cuffs look like he has had it for ten years. Reading through the comments here sounds as if the pockets do not stand wear either. Saved my money I think by not buying. I wonder if Knox take any notice ? Like your channel keep it going please.

Must say I've never seen these type of garments before. Living in Spain where the summer months are very hot for months these will be a great alternative to so called summer wear jackets that still fell hot to wear...will investigate for info Man cave

Irish rider here, realistically in our climates how is this thing really? I'm interested but cannot get my head around a mesh jacket..how on earth can you stay warm..what are the overshells like if you have tried them. 1098, deauville and forza rider.

I purchased the Knox Urbane Pro Mk3 in July 2023. I’m a weekend warrior and I’ve put less than 40 hours of use on my jacket when the cuffs began to fray. I wrote the company directly as well as sending photos, to which they responded, that the frayed cuffs were a result of repeated abrasion from gloves, or likely wear from the Velcro closure on gloves. They said that they would not replace the jacket or refund my money. I was disappointed to say the least, particularly when “abrasion resistance“ is the company’s advertisement lead. Clearly, the material used at the cuffs is flimsy at best, and inconsistent with the durability of the rest of the jacket. I pride myself on taking meticulous care of my equipment, and for the company to suggest that the use of gloves on a motorcycle jacket caused this premature wear and damage is ridiculous and outrageous. These companies have a captive audience as well as regulatory capture to inflate their prices, and to advertise an abrasion resistant armored shirt that is now literally falling apart at the seams after less than 40 hours of use is shameful.

I have the non pro and wear it under my perf leather jacket. The knox jacket holds the armor in place while when it was in just the leather jacket it would flop every where

I’ve received my Urban Pro a few days ago... it’s not THAT light... it’s really hot, granted I’ve only ridden in it by 34deg Celsius, gotta see how it’ll turn out in cooler climats

Hi, I see your review on the Revit element jacket. You have the black Urban Pro Utility. Is there a reason you have bought or got another one? Has it not held up? and you dont mention sizing on the element jacket? Im on the border of L and XL for the armourd shirt, wondering on the Revit jacket you bought and how it is still going. Im in Australia. It's now called the Component, I think.

The urban shirt is about as useful as a teabag if you crash! Speaking from experience after dumping my Ducati enduro two weeks ago. The abrasion resistance is nil. The arm pad slid out of place putting a big graze and hole in my elbow. God knows what would have happened at speed. Mines been put in the bin

Great gear, have the Action shirt which is much the same idea. Love the fit and the Knox armour is much more flexible and comfortable than the D30 stuff in my KLIM gear. Have now replaced with MicroLock in my Badlands suit! 👍👍👍

Would you upgrade to the level two armour??

Panda moto has a stylish competitor. Dyneema instead of kevlar; More expensive; No chest armor option.

Good review. I want the black but the camel is £50 cheaper! Dilemma!

I've now had two of the Knox urbane pro II utility.. unfortunately the production quality on stitching has been very poor. The first one lasted five months then all the cuff stitching gave out. The replacement lasted about eight weeks then the breast pocket that can't accommodate a reasonable phone gave up the ghost. So like the concept, want to support a UK company but if it can't handle everyday real use it is a No From Me.
