Overall traveler's is solid. Two claims over 5 years and they paid the claims in full.

1st was a roof claim due to wind damage 5 years ago.

2nd was a water freeze pipe burst last xmas here in ATL. That was over $100k in rebuild and loss of use.

Still with them.

I used a company called Gabi that compared auto insurance quotes for me. At the time I had Geico, which was the lowest I could find anywhere. But Gabi ended up finding Traveler’s, which quoted me a lower rate, higher coverage amounts, and lower deductibles 🤯. I haven’t filed any claims or anything, but I was impressed with the quote that no other can match. I’m single in my 30s with a clean driving record, with no lapses in coverage and no claims. I didn’t know all the cool stuff about the company, so thank you for sharing!

Worst company ever if you make a claim. Run the other way! Ask the victims of Hurricane Ian. This company will ignore your claim and never send out an adjuster. When you call or email the adjuster to find out what the delay is, you won't hear back for a week or two. Then you'll be asked to do the adjuster's job by fully "documenting" the claim yourself. Then the adjuster will wait several weeks to reject your "documentation" for whatever reason the adjuster dreams up. This keeps repeating until you give up or get a lawyer. I've made claims with several other insurance companies over the years and none of them were remotely as bad as this company.

I was set up to get Home owners insurance with Travelers and they dropped me saying the roof was bad. The inspector never was on the roof or inside the house to check from inside. The inspector was outside for three minutes and was gone. I had the roof checked out by someone I know and could trust, he said that the roof was still in good shape and didn't need to be replaced.

Just had a $100k claim on my house last winter here in Atlanta due to waterpipe freeze. They covered everything, no issues. They also covered my roof replacement 5 years ago, no issue.

Travelers is great.

I had a claim with Travelers..Nothing but problems getting my car fixed right. I made the mistake of trying to stay within the adjusters quote; every body shop estimated at least $5000 above their estimate; then refused to fix anything above that initial quote; and left my car in worse shape than it was before their "repairs". Terrible

Id like to know what kind of creepy stalker a.k.a. insurance inspector Jason, Travelers Insurance sent to my home in Hailey Idaho same with Gieco. Cant file s claim without a police report. I switched to State Farm . Who sent the check from Progressive Insurance that I took to the Hailey Police?

Okay so I lost half of my hair using a product from KISS Beauty Products and they apparently carry travelers insurance and I got a letter today after over a month of the claim adjuster being fake nice to me and never making me think I did anything wrong because I didn’t I followed every rule to a T and did absolutely nothing wrong and the bottom half of my hair fell out I take great pride in my hair I worked so hard for many years to grow my hair so this is devastating and they said in the letter ”due to the color and pre existing color of your hair you did not comply with the directions for the use of the product” I used a non harmful non damaging color remover on my hair before I bleached it and did a strand test so how I didn’t follow directions is beyond me! Also I found countless complaints online within the last 6 months of others having the same issues and they said in the letter they have no complaints another LIE! Y’all really gonna regret blatantly lying like that trust me.

I'll be canceling my travelers insurance this year because I just got my renewal notice and it doubled unbelievable. They said because I went to a different state it was going to go up which they said it was about $40 that sucker jumped up from 248 to 428

This company is horrible. I have been a customer for 12 years and never filed a claim. Last week I found out they are dropping me before the end of this month, because of some discoloration spotted on my roof in a picture taken by a drone at 200 feet up.

I called and asked, if I get an insured contractor to call inspect the roof, and make any necessary repairs, would they renew my policy.

Ashley, one of their managers, told me that they are using the tools they are allowed to use in NJ, and that underwriting absolutely would not reverse their decision, under any circumstances!

I also discovered that they had recently raised my premium by 13% due to an increase in the “estimated cost to rebuild my home”! But I didn’t even realize that bc my premium is escrowed!

I am a single mother of 4 young children on a very fixed budget. This has put me in a horrible predicament! Do not chose Travelers, they don’t give a crap about you!

Progressive is a terrible company. ... Travels is still my family insurance for 20 years. I had 5 different companies. State Farm, AAA---liked them, Allstate no problems but pricey., Progressive... ia a accident insurance..., and Nationwide rep was really rude...so I did not go with them.... but Progressive was the worst. My partner is a auto painter... he said Gecko was the worst at paying out.
