Hello. I am graphic designer and I have no idea about coding. Just I have an idea about animate. If you can use rounded gradiend in any color you want like 360/x (x=color you want) bg color (black) to color like 100-100 to 0 - range. At that time corners of colors will flat. It will looks better I think and you can use any numbers of colors in single layer.
