What to do with that 1st Sponsor who helped me to enter the US before? (The 1st Sponsor was his dad)

What about using another family member of the petitioner to be a joint sponsor? How is the form meant to be filled out? The primary is unemployed with zero income but the family member (joint sponsor) can easily make the required income.
