Seal Tries To Escape His Rescuer

This one almost got away! The rescuers had found two entangled seals in one group. One was already safely secured in the rescue net, but the second one almost escaped into he waves before he could be restrained. Luckily Denzil was right behind Antoine and he netted the entangled animal in the baby net. Both entanglements were fairly fresh and did not leave any marks or scars behind, the seals were lucky they were found so soon, especially the one who almost got away. 🦭

Glad you were able to catch and release these two before they were cut by the hose and line. On a totally different note, I love to hear the twap, twap, twap of flippers slapping against sand when a group of seals run to the water. Makes me smile. Thank you OCN team!
