Back when these were new I thought it would be a great idea to buy one and just sit on it. Obviously someone actually did it, CONGRATULATIONS !!

The ones with the negative comments, all the cars in that era had horrible horse power numbers. But the Pontiacs Trans ams we're the best looking cars of that era, by far. I had a 78 Formula, it got the looks and it was fun as hell to drive.

I don't know what's more shocking, the mileage or the price it sold for. Never would I have believed a T/A would have sold for this kind of price. Proves there's a lot of people with money to burn.

I had the original silver anniversary 1979 pontiac trans am with 34, 000 miles ws6 package. All the bells and whistles. Super go fast. For it. Outran a 302 dz camaro.
Top out over 160mph.

I owned a 1977 Trans Am I could have bought the Black TransAm but choose the silver with a red and black transAm Bird on the hood it had a 400 6.2 engine I guess I should have bought the Black special edition I Sold mine to a Dr for 4;000 dollars and bought a 1991 silver TransAm but that was years ago I'm 65 years old now but such wonderful memories now
