That brings back memories. I was blessed to train in one of the very very few National Guard Air Assault helicopter company’s East of the Mississippi qualified to do SPIES and FRIES. In fact, I believe we were the ONLY such company East of the Mississippi. My company did that exact training/display scenario with the Ranger school. HOORAH.
