They're all interconnected, studying the cellular processes in microbes is the starting point of a lot of experimental research in molecular biology, now one thing could differentiate the two in a way could be that microbiology is the study of microbes and how they behave at a cellular and a macro level, while molecular biology could be studying molecular and cellular processes involved in all organisms in general and use microbes to do so
