This came along at the RIGHT time. I ended things with someone last night because despite having great chemistry, we weren't compatible with each other. They weren't ready for a relationship, were emotionally closed off and just didn't match my personality. I feel upset at the loss of a connection but I know I did the right thing. This video just confirms it. Matthew, I have been watching your videos since I was 18, I am grateful to you for helping me work on myself and cultivate healthy relationships.❤

Agreed.

I would say that sometimes they or we aren't ready and you separate on good terms.
But, come back together later in life. But, through that time apart, you can become the right person for a previous connection.
We grow and change as people. But, it's equally possible to bring two people together as it is to separate them.
Guess it just matters how emotional intelligent and mature you are.

That’s a tough thing to accept. I met someone younger that was in a different point of life and we both realized it couldn’t work. Everything seemed so wonderful it’s heartbreaking to me. But you’re right the “right person, ” will be on the same path as you are. Thank you for reminding me of that.❤

This man knows his stuff. So true, so many people say right person, wrong time. That’s what makes them the wrong person. Must have compatibility not just that they are fun to be with and make you laugh. The sex is good.. at the end values must match to make it last. Thank you ❤❤❤

I do believe that you meet the right person at the wrong time. It is a reality. The wrong time is simply the situation you both are that doesn’t allow you to be together.

I think this is a useful perspective to hold even when it turns out right person wrong time was true. Cuz until proven actually true it's not a useful story to tell yourself, it does not help you move on.

Well...most lives are not "perfect matches" in that she has a great career and you do. Or she is completely healed from her divorce or is in a wishy washy relationship with another man when you meet her.
I see too many people trying to line up "the checklist' and their is "no 🎩 magic" of chemistry. There is no falling in love ❤.
I see this especially with online dating "meets" because everyone is looking for an immediate sexual hookup or interviewing a resume and not getting to know a person.
How many people over 40 actually meet a new person who is "free and clear" of all life problems..? That would be ZERO.
Reality is trying to find someone to build a life from wherever you are....not waiting for all the boxes to appear to be checked.
