Quick and to the point with no long winded intro. Fantastic! Thanks!

The wire you looped around the spring to be able to pull it into place for the outer part of the gasket was genius!

Wow it's a whole operation. Wasn't expecting that.

Exact video I needed. Thank there vids show taking the top and whole front off the washer but in my case the dryer is stacked on top so needed a better way. Now I know it is possible. Thank you!

Thanks for the video! I don't have the tools so I have to get a repairman to do it for me, but this definitely looks do-able for next time

I had to do this to THREE washers, and thankyou for your video because without your video... this is no task for a spray bottle or that "gel" stuff, the whole thing needs to be removed, literally!

Thanks for this video. I just spent 3 hours replacing a nasty gasket that could not be fixed with cleaning. Removing was not the issue. Putting that back clamp back on was a huge hassle.

My LG washer also had 2 additional drain hookups on each side that were annoying to fit back in.

Thanks for this. It took me way longer than I expected because of how tough it is to get the gasket to fit on the inner part and that inner spring is soo tight. Almost lost a thumb.

Thank you for this video! Now I need to know how to remove the agitators on the inside of the drum to clean under them.

I bought a new one and it was hard to get to "slip" on to the white flange. It was easier for me to start on the top. There was no room for the spring at the top so I put back on the side where there is a space to work. I pulled the spring up to the hook with needle nose pliers. Took all of my strength to do that. Gotta have a lotta light to see the hook.

I took the drain hose off to clean it and put it back on the gasket first, then used the needle nose pliers to open the clamp and push it back onto the machine. It was easier for me than pushing two flexible things back together with all of the plastic flopping around.

Still working on the outside metal ring...

Gives absolutely no guidance on the hardest part! You're on par with the best engineering professors ive ever had!

Very helpful video! I've been dealing with a nasty gasket for a while now. I've cleaned all I've could with it attached and now know how to take off! Wish me luck tho. May need assistance getting it off and on. Aweful design really!
Do you know if there is a way to take out the drum? I've cleaned using the washing machine "pucks" you can buy but I think I need to take out the drum and deep clean under it too

Have you taken off the baffles to clean before? Can’t get those off

thanks for the video. I was able to replace the gasket. However, how do I diagnose the issue if the washer starts dripping water?

There should be an easier way to clean this gasket. It’s a stupid design.

Thank you! Helpful!
Wish I had my old top loader!! This nasty gasket is such a poor design. Clean clothes have to exit directly over it. 😮
