I play the 5 on my hs team (I’m 6’8”) we played a game a few days ago, and I blocked a layup into the other team’s pg’s face and it broke his nose. I was called for a tech, and I sat out the rest of the game.

Can you do different scenarios, because 99% of the time, there is never an easy shot to block

Just quick advice when you run next to some guy with the ball and he wants to make a right side layup then you gotta run on his letf side and when Your opponent statrs jump you Gotta like jump like you try to hit the board with Your hand, the ball will go up and you will block the ball of the board that Is preety sick when you are shorter than quy you blocked good luck

Here’s my tip:
Jump before them, that’s it, when you see guys get dunked on it’s because of 2 things:
1. They jump to late
2. They’re white
When you jump sooner you’ll be higher in the air, and the guy your trying to block will do one of two things
1. Go into you
2. Do some wack shit
Either way just slap that shit into the 4th row

In a recent game I blocked a shot from someone going straight up to the basket on help. They went for a floater down the middle, they jumped and then I jumped. I placed my hand on the ball and only the ball. I managed to stop the players momentum and they fell and hit the ground fairly hard as my block reversed their momentum in the air, overpowering them. The ref called a foul despite no contact while coach was wondering why they called the foul. Was it a foul?
