Hello Steve, I have enjoyed many of your videos and wanted to ask is you have any preferred settings for the Samsung - 85" Class QN90C Neo QLED 4K. I purchased this TV about 2 months ago and wanted to get a picture experience with it. Any guidance will be appreciated. Keep the vides coming.

Steve really is imo the go to guy for tv reviews. I found him a few years ago researching a tv for my living room. Now I’m going through his old videos looking at budget TV’s. I don’t need something fancy for the bedroom. Just to watch stuff at night mostly when the lady stays over and maybe Sunday morning football. I’m having a tough time deciding. Maybe the pioneer xumo or the Toshiba c350 or maybe spend 50 bucks more for a tcl. Idk if it’s really worth the extra dough though, because like I said it’s just for the bedroom. What are your thoughts Steve? I’m leaning toward the 65” pioneer for 329. I get my cable through iptv that’s mainly what I watch and some streaming I keep to minimum

Steve are the meters and pattern generator the same thing or are they two different devices that run through the software?

Is the picture settings on this video based on your personal room lightning or how does it work and should picture clarity settings be but to auto since you said to turn it on? :)

I'd like to know what your calibration settings are for the Q70C. I wonder if they'd be the same or similar to the Q60D.

Tried it on my qn90c which ive just been using with intelligence mode.. looks good, but can you do one with the qn90c? Or is it similar?

Hey Steve can you make a Calibrated Game Mode Settings for the TU7000? Where the whole picture is reference based and colors pop as the developers intended.

Kindest regards
Thanks

Thank you very much!!
I was waiting for you to do this TV
But can we have another video about HDR settings for this TV?
I am still struggling with HDR settings when I calibrate my PS5 because they are confusing.

You should use the app on the phone then do a comparison. I wanted to get a meter and Calman Home for Samsung, but it requires a pattern generator as well... far too expensive. But the phone app did an amazing job on my QN90B. One thing I just noticed though, is that after using the app, Movie becomes Movie (Calibrated), but after an update last week, now it just says Movie again. Settings look to be the same still though.

Best meter profile to use with your i1D3 variant for a QD LED would be the LCD LED Quantum Dot profile rather than LCD CCFL.

Been trying to get your input on selecting a 65 inch for around $1000 but didnt know where to post it. I signed up on the 4kTV forum but still didnt see a way to post a new topic. Can you please give me your input on selecting a 65 inch for around $1000 that has the brighest picture? I purchased a 55 inch Samsung CU7000 about 9 months ago and I wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy. There should be a class action lawsuit against Samsung for manufacturing such junk. The picture is probably one of the worst I have ever seen. Anyways, I really like the LG TVs but my main want is a bright picture with decent picture quality. Can you recommend a few brands and models I could look at? I didnt want to spend more than $1000 but Im willing to go a bit above that for a good TV. Thanks in advance

don't waste your money on this piece of shit tv, 600 for the 55 inch, this thing isn't worth 250, I know because I had one and returned it, bad motion, bad wifi, streaming is garbage, if you're going to spend 699 get the 24 QM7, that's what I should have done the first time and saved myself some aggravation !!!
