How to repair corrupted GoPro video file. Very easy!

After watching numerous YouTube videos that did not solve my problem, here is what I did to solve my issue of a corrupted GoPro video file that would not play. 1. Upload the video to your computer. 2. Reinsert the SD card into your GoPro. 3. Record a short video (over ten seconds) 4. Insert the SD card back into your computer. 5. Delete the MP4 file only from the SD card leaving the remaining two files. 6. Drag the corrupt file into the folder on the SD card that contains the remaining two files. 7. Rename the corrupted file to match the other two files. 8. Re-insert the SD card into the GoPro and turn it on. The GoPro should automatically repair the file.
