There were a lot of bugs in the mother ship. Sometimes your gun wouldn't shoot, sometimes you couldn't double jump. But the worst one that happened to me twice was where it made my entire screen super bright even after I left the mothership. I think it's mainly for bugs but I'm sure they could tie it into the story somehow

Theory: So we all know that the mothership is moving but…the destination well be coral castle so my theory is by next Tuesday there will be an update in which the mothership destroyes coral castle and then the motherships next target will be corny complex because of Joey who got intel and the mothership well go over the island and and destroy corny complex this my theory on what’s going to happen in the future.
