why does Antinous feel more sinister than most villains? he feels like the type of villain who's quiet and charming and seems quite fine until he finally reveals himself to be the worst of the lot- manipulative. He feels like the perfect opposite to Odysseus in that way- they're both sly and cunning, but one is "good" while the other is "bad"... it's so cool to see and makes Antinous such a chilling villain, so props to you!

This was absolutely my favorite song in the saga on its own (beside Odysseus) like a really good villain song I imagine is mostly portraying these horrid ideas as large shadows on the wall while Ody strings his bow in anger and prepares his slaughter

My favourite part of this is how inhumanely devoid of emotion the suitors sound when they say "hold him down". While I hate them, and especially Antinuous (he's such a punchable character fr) the fact that even if you do hear some sort of feeling in that choir of voices it will not be remorse
