This is true. Spiders are indeed the world's best web developers.

Let's be real here: The spider at the end is the only web developer who is happy when he encounters bugs 😂

"An idiot admires complexity, a genius admires simplicity."
Joking aside, I really think this is something every new programmer should hear, and I firmly believe Terry hit the nail right on the head with that one.
The point of programming is to do things more efficiently, so don't try to over-complicate things when you really don't have to.

imposter syndrome to superiority complex switching every few hours is such a rollercoaster

We older software engineers can often add the casual "By the way, I wrote that" flex while explaining an API that is seemingly older than time itself to a junior developer. 🙂

NGL, that was the best ad for YouTube premium that I've ever seen. I'm taking notes. You presented targeted relatable issues you've overcome with the product and described how you'll continue to use the premium due to its generalized superiority over other apps that charge similar prices but don't offer all the services the product provides.

This was the smoothest sponsorship of all time - I didn't even realize at first 😳

One way to flex as a programmer is to help your fellow programmers and teach them your skills

My professor for my ethics class is a real G, got so much success making products and sold software to Microsoft for millions. He works as a "lecturer" lecturers only get ~$3000 a semester and are usually the ones who actually care about their students' education. Anyways, when you mentioned the flexing thing I remember him saying that there will be a lot of people that will try and flex on you and while saying that he was flexing and did a funny pose xD.

As a python programmer, I try to flex by cramming as much code in one line as possible while ignoring readability.

Imagine creating a 6 minutes long video on flexing just to flex the retweet you got from Elon 😂

Thanks for taking a break. Really helps to not feel like "Not being able to keep up with the changes going on" the whole time.

The amount of knowledge he owns is worthier than the thousands of tutorials that teach coding in a vicious way
