i never knew you could grenade jump up to it. I always lured a banshee from the bridge section into the tunnels. and borded it as I went through the checkpoint. You could then just fly to the soccer ball and the scarab gun.

Getting this Easter egg on OG halo 2 was so hard because you had to get each skull in order to activate them and if you turned off your Xbox they went away

I used to use the banshie to get up there. Had to grab one from the start and push it through the opening of the tunnel. I think the Scarab gun is over there too.

Or save the scorpion tank by bringing a ghost through the building. Boost off and you have just enough time to save the tank. Take the wraith that is shoved into the door so it doesn't disappear. Right not have one player in each tank. While moving forward and the wraith touching the bumper of the scorpion tank. Now boost the wraith and see the scorpion go flying. Or lure a banshee through the tunnel and fly there.

OG’s never needed anything other than 2 grenades and a couple perfectly timed crouch jumps

This should definitely be a series! Maybe you could be funny and call it “The Hunt (for Easter Eggs)” where you highlight an old or very funny Easter Egg from a game. Maybe something like the Club Errera Dancing Grunt Easter Egg, or the Halo 5 Football/Soccer Ball Easter Egg where you can actually score a goal and Locke and Buck have unique lines for it. Even something from Infinite, like the funny callouts on maps like “Sandwich, ” “Yep, this is death, ” or “Oscar’s House.”

Banshee was was my go to do the easter eggs. I also found you can park the banshee ontop the scarab like in great journey and it will actually carry it, although not well.

I found this when I took a Banshee through the tunnels. I thought it was so weird at the time! There are some really good easter eggs in Halo!

Lol I did none of that, I used the ghost in the level area before the city and ramp off of the scarab to time it perfectly into the blown out roof top! For years so many people didn't talk about this Easter egg and I felt like a king for being the only one in my neighborhood to do it! It's good to know you found an earlier way to do it!

Or bring the banshee there to get to it. Also if you fly even higher up on a huge beam connecting 2 buildings you can pick up a plasma rifle that shoots likes scarab gun.

Only way? You could use the banshee you lure through the tunnels to get to it. Its how I found it + the scarab gun on my own back on the OG Box
