On the panalty, actually the rule says if there’s a rebound to the hand of a defender wether from the defender of another teammate without denying a clear chance for the opponent, it’s a no-call. No penalty. That’s the rule, so No, Barcelona wasn’t favored. The officials only applied the rule. If the ball came off a Girona player to his arm, from the corner kick straight to his arm, or the ball was heading towards a girona player for a clear chance at goal and hits his arm, then we have a penalty situation. Madrid is the one getting all these penalty bonanza from referees. Very sad league.
