2011 Fc Barcelona was jaw dropping. Greatest Football ever played.

This is why I never understand people slandering Messi for "only" being able to do it with Xavi, Iniesta and Busi.
The footballing intelligence and understanding you need to even be able to catch up mentally is near impossible. Let alone be the best player by far amongst them.

As a utd fan who can remember that game having it broke down like that was brilliant. My Dad was there he says Barcelona are the best team he has seen

The difference from 2009 to this final was the fact barca went to another level that year. They demolished Madrid 5-0 in the classico and beat them in the semi final. They were at their peak that year. And United haven't sufficiently strengthened the squad to compete with a pressing team. It still gives me nightmares thinking about that game.

As a young United fan, this club gave me the best childhood winning leagues & UCL. That final in 2011 was one of the few times as a United fan where I felt we didn't have a chance & still is one of the worst days of my life because of how Barca dominated us in that final. 😪 GGMU 🇾🇪

Not about the result, just amazing to have inside analysis on such a spectacular event. Which game do you want us to cover next?

This was actually a brilliant tactical analysis. What the spare defensive man does with his positioning is very underrated, you need to make sure you are affecting the game with your position and if you arent you have to be brave enough to move away from your starting position.

Half of the video is about messi and it just shows how important messi was and people say he is nothing without Xavier Iniesta.

true! vidic and ferdinard barely got out of their own box.

The Only time Vidic went up the pitch and got sucked in 1 v 1 with Messi alone ... He got the Greatest Nutmeg of all time 😆😆

Man landed on his backside

Being beaten in the champions league final by the greatest football team ive ever seen. That used to be a bad day as a United fan. Thats the standard.

2:28 you know what rio, playing as a center back you understand such stuff. Pique was absolutely immense for Barcelona but his mistakes just like Aymeric Laporte get highlighted more because of the high pressure situation....still Pique is massive

6:50 You got it wrong, Pedro scored the first goal off that Xavi pass in the UCL final..not Villa.

I remember watching that match and thinking to myself a few minutes into the match: "we're in trouble here. that midfield of Barca is killing us. we need to change something". I saw that our defenders struggled with their positioning, since the CBs had no one to mark and the fullbacks are so wide. That's uncomfortable and too much distance to cover. Barca was on another level. Great analysis Rio. I prefer this content over the watch and bling stuff. In fact, I don't watch that show at all.

I remember the build up that saturday evening & thinking united could be in for a good hiding.

That Barca team's the best ever, hands down. Never have we ever seen the gaffer look so defeated while the game was still going on with 5-10min left to play.

Would like a breakdown of games against Mourinho's Chelsea, what was it about them? As fans we hated that team but they were just so clinically good at everything.

Ancelotti's Milan, star players up front, that midfield seemed unplayable.

Then Galactico Real Madrid, that R9 hattrick.
