PETITTI Garden Update and Mid-Summer Pruning Pruning

We are approaching the end of July and things are looking great in the garden. If your tomatoes are getting out of control like ours are, you can let them continue growing if they aren’t getting in the way, try to stake them up or cut them back if needed. When cutting back hanging baskets, it will break your heart, but it’s ok to cut off blooms in order to promote new, fresh growth. Remember to apply fertilizer after pruning in order to provide nutrients to your plants as they begin to produce new growth.
