The main issue I am having post purchase is that it doesn't support an external mic? Any ideas - have a Shure MV7. Internal mic on the webcam is ok but not as good as an input mic. Considering starting again with another webcam unless a solution can be found?

I have this camera and the 2C version as well. When I use Zoom the camera always goes back to 720p instead of staying at 1080p as I want. How do I fix that please?

So, I'm forced to use a product that I can NOT UPDATE, due to a ridiculous LOOP that happens when I attempt to Update the product...it's unreal

1) I download the update from the app...
2) I select the downloaded file from my p.c.
3) User account control "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?"
YES!!!
4) SELECT SETUP LANGUAGE..
ENGLISH...Selects *OK*
5) "SET UP HAS DETECTED THAT INSTA360 LINK CONTROLLER IS CURRENTLY RUNNING. PLEASE CLOSE ALL INSTANCES OF IT NOW, THEN CLICK OK TO CONTINUE, OR CANCEL TO EXIT"

6) I select *Ok* after closing out the Controller app that appeared...
7) The process repeats...
Again, who designed this trash!!!
I've NEVER had this much trouble updating ANYTHING in my life!!

Camera is solid but updating has been horr8ble!! Every single time I attempt to update... the "Controller" keeps activating and running...thus preventing the update.
It says shut down the controller, but when I download the update and go to use it...again, the controller keeps activating!! It's a LOOP!!
Who designed this shit?!
