In today's video we will unbox and take an indepth look at this new Troublemaker tele and most importantly go over it's rather tricky control layout so we know what all the push/push pots do!

I've been having issues with my GoPro loosing footage and audio while recording. I initially unboxed two of these this episode, but that footage was corrupted.

This is a pretty cool guitar that has lots of tonal opportunities. I would've changed a few cosmetics up to get it closer to Black Beauty specs, but it sounds nice!

I personally like the single binding! I think that it adds just the right amount of contrast to the classic Telecaster body shape. Now it just needs chrome, or nickel, hardware.

The three pickup configuration and tonal possibilities are that of the old Gibson ES-5 or ES-5 Switchmaster.

Discoloration on the pickups is from bubbles in the protective plastic. You can remove it with a bit of deoxit on a paper towel.

I’m with you on it needing a little more. I’m a massive fender fan but this model feels lacking somehow, like someone got carried away with the electronics and forgot about the looks. Some sort of carved top would have been incredible, the triple binding was definitely an oversight! Great work as usual. That switching system makes my head hurt

The switching is not all that difficult. Just think of being able to split the neck and/or bridge and disabling the middle if you want.
I too would have liked to be able to split the middle pup and also add it to the neck pup.
I have an Epi LP Custom Pro. Only two pups but you can split either or both and also has a push/pull phase switch that works with both pups on. Sounds amazing!

Another amazing review. A bit disappointed in the guitar though. It looks so amazing, but I would’ve gone to push Gibson’s buttons. Neck, Middle and Bridge out of phase, and Bridge. I’m a simple creature, I don’t want to understand 8 different combinations 😂. If I bought one of those, I’d probably convert it to that honestly.
