Born a die hard Chevy fanboy but just last year I got rid of my 2011 duramax and bought a 17 5.0 with the mt82 6 speed and this car has been the most fun I’ve ever had so far I’ve gone catless straight pipe out the rear, isolated cold air intake and this car came alive🙏🏻

I had a 2016 GT and a 2018 SS, both 6 speeds and my SS was so much more fun to drive. As many automotive journalists have stated, the Camaro chasis is one of the best ever made.

Ive literally owned 2
Vettes, a 12 2ss camaro with 505whp, a 2013 rt challeger and 5 mustangs have 2 rn a 07 gt supercharged and a 17 5.0 . There all amazing in there own way . I hate people who claim there car enthusiasts but dick ride a brand lol . Real car guys understand its not aout brand. Cant stand the new mopar community lmao 😂

I owned a 2019 gt pp1. Now, I own a 2022 mach 1 with the handling package and I gotta say that the mustang had to jump that. These cars are evenly matched almost. If they were both stock then you're only walking an SS if you jump a bit. Both as sick cars 🔥🔥🔥

Camaro owner myself, but I always loved what four did with a dual overhead cam v8. Invest with GM used to do with the Northstar engines, just wasn't very reliable. I think if the V8 is to continue with the American automakers, DOHC V8 is the way to go. Valve timing makes a world of difference and as you can see with European Auto makers, even with Jaguar while being owned by ford in the mid 2000s, they've been doin DOHC V8s for a long time.

Of course the Camaro is going to lose the mustang has more power stock. But the thing is an LS motor is much cheaper to mod and build to outrun that mustang versus what it cost to build a coyote
